Hand Painted Wine Glass Candles

Hand Painted Wine Glass Candles

These are hand painted using water and spray paint or acrylic paint.  You put a small amount of water in a clean glass and spray paint into the water.  As you roll the glass around the paint comes off on the glass when it gets to the edge of the water.  After doing your first color, you let it dry, then repeat with your second, and third colors.  After it has all dried, take a silver or gold spray paint to coat the inside.  There will still be some "cracks" in the paint so your candle will shine through when burning.  Then coat inside with a sealer.  After that is completely dry, melt gel candle wax, add scent and pour into glass with a wick.  The "snow" glass is made by painting a coat of Modge-Podge on the outside of the glass and rolling in epsom salt, then sprayed with a coat of sealer.  I have these for sale for $20 each in my shop...
